THE organisers of TCE Baby Expo expressed their sincere apologies to all Malaysians, especially visitors and stakeholders, following the circulation of inappropriate content by one of its exhibitors, Singapore Lactation Bakes (SLB).

In a statement, TCE said the material displayed by the exhibitor was independently produced by them.

"The nature of the content did not reflect the values of our event, which is built on creating a safe, inclusive, and family-friendly environment.

"Upon being made aware of the issue, we took immediate action. The exhibitor’s booth was shut down on the spot, and the video in question was promptly removed.

"In addition, the organiser is currently exploring legal remedies against the vendor for breaching event standards," read the statement.

TCE said a thorough internal review is currently underway, in collaboration with all relevant parties.

"While the exhibitor acted independently, we recognise the importance of safeguarding the overall experience for all our visitors.

"We are revisiting and strengthening our exhibitor guidelines and content approval procedures to ensure such incidents do not recur.

"We deeply regret the distress this incident has caused and thank the public for their continued support and understanding as we address the matter with transparency and care," added TCE.

It was earlier reported that one of its exhibitors - SLB had displayed the Jalur Gemilang without the crescent moon.

A display of the Malaysian flag behind the stage of the SLB booth at the expo went viral on social media, reportedly lacking the crescent symbol, sparking public criticism.
