THE Malaysian Embassy in Thailand has advised all Malaysian citizens planning to enter the country after May 1 to complete the newly introduced Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online no less than three days before their scheduled arrival.

Malaysia’s Chargé d’Affaires in Thailand, Bong Yik Jui, said the TDAC system will begin accepting submissions on April 28 to cater for travellers arriving from its official launch date.

“Travellers are reminded that the TDAC must be submitted three days before their arrival in Thailand, including the day of arrival. For example, those arriving on May 5 may begin submitting their TDAC on May 2,” he told Bernama.

He added that Malaysian travellers should submit their digital arrival card via the Thai Immigration Bureau’s official portal at [tdac.immigration.go.th](http://tdac.immigration.go.th).

For those facing difficulties with the system, Bong assured that assistance will be available at border entry points.

“Travellers who are unable to complete the TDAC before arrival or lack internet access at immigration checkpoints will be assisted at designated help centres,” he said.

The TDAC system, which will replace the traditional TM6 immigration form, has been developed to streamline entry procedures using modern, secure and efficient smart travel technology. - April 25, 2025
