A TOTAL of 95.6 percent of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) graduates successfully secured employment within six months of completing their training.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said TVET graduates also enjoyed increasingly competitive incomes with most earning above the minimum wage of RM1,700.
"A total of 95.6 percent of TVET graduates successfully secured employment within six months of completing their training," he said when tabling the 13th Malaysia Plan (13MP) at the Dewan Rakyat today.
He also said that more emphasis will be placed on enhancing economic complexity by producing more high-value "Made in Malaysia" products and services.
"Efforts will be implemented to strengthen the ecosystem, including the adoption of advanced technologies and digitalisation, enhancement of research, development, commercialisation, and innovation activities and productivity.
"Focus will also be directed at boosting quality investments, improving the business environment, and empowering talent," he said. - July 31, 2025
