GABUNGAN Rakyat Sabah (GRS) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) have finalised their seat allocations but it will only be announced on nomination day.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said the matter would be announced later after the date was set by the Election Commission (EC) on Thursday.

"Yes, we already know (but) I can't announce it now. Just wait until nomination day and you will know the number," he said when met by reporters after visiting the Sekolah Agama Negeri (SAN) in Pekan Tambunan, today.

Hajiji, who is also the GRS Chairman, also announced that the coalition would launch its manifesto after nomination day.

"We will offer the best to the people of Sabah," he said.

He was confident that the people would return the mandate to GRS-PH based on its excellent record of administration over the past five years.

"We have achieved a lot of success through various socio-economic programmes for the people. We have brought in high-impact investments to boost Sabah's economic development.

"We have spent over RM1.3 billion on human capital development initiatives, in addition to providing monthly assistance of RM300 to the hardcore poor on the e-Kasih list.

"We have also achieved success in the oil and gas industry. The opposition is trying to deny this success, but I believe the people are now mature and will appreciate our achievements," he said.

Hajiji also stated that this time's PRN will be more lively with many political parties having announced their intention to contest.

"Let's celebrate democracy," he said. - October 14, 2025
