POLICE have arrested three foreign nationals to assist investigations into the murder of an Indonesian woman whose body was found concealed under a pile of oil palm fronds at a plantation in Telemong, Bentong, on 3 November.

Pahang Police Chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman said two suspects, both in their 30s and employed at the plantation, were detained a day after the decomposed body was discovered. Following further investigations, a third man was arrested yesterday evening.

“Initial investigations revealed that one of the suspects has confessed to being involved in the murder,” Yahaya told a press conference today.

He said the victim, aged 41 and married in Kuala Lumpur, was believed to have been killed about two weeks ago. “The body was hidden beneath a pile of oil palm fronds. Police are still investigating the purpose of her visit to the plantation and her meeting with the suspects,” he added.

Yahaya confirmed that the main suspect arrested yesterday has been remanded for a week starting today to aid investigations. He said the victim was believed to have been struck with a blunt object, and the motive for the killing remains under investigation.

The case is being probed under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder. - November 11, 2025
