THE Government has announced a five sen per litre increase in the retail prices of RON97, non-subsidised RON95 petrol, and diesel in Peninsular Malaysia, effective from 13 November to 19 November 2025, following a surge in global oil prices.
RON97 will now retail at RM3.25 per litre, non-subsidised RON95 at RM2.65 per litre, while diesel in Peninsular Malaysia rises to RM3.07 per litre.
Subsidised RON95 under the BUDI95 scheme will remain at RM1.99 per litre, and diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan are unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance (MoF) emphasised that retail prices are determined using the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) and will continue to be reviewed in line with global oil market movements.
“Even so, price stability remains the foremost priority,” it said.
The Government affirmed it would continue monitoring international oil trends and take necessary measures to safeguard public welfare. - November 12, 2025
