HIS Majesty Sultan of Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah once again demonstrated his deep concern for the wellbeing of the people when he temporarily halted his journey to assist a road accident victim on the East Coast Expressway Phase 1 near the Temerloh toll exit on Friday.
According to a statement shared by the Pahang Royal Household on its official Facebook page, His Majesty was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan when he came upon the scene of an accident involving a motorcycle and a car.
“Concerned about the injuries sustained by the motorcyclist, His Majesty instructed the police escort vehicle to immediately transport the victim to Hospital Temerloh for medical treatment,” the statement said.

His Majesty also alighted from his vehicle to personally assess the situation, checking on the condition of the injured motorcyclist and speaking to those in the other vehicle involved, before resuming his journey back to Kuantan.
