THE retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will increase by 3 sen to RM2.99 per litre for the period Feb 12 to Feb 18, 2026, following a rise in global oil prices, the Ministry of Finance announced.
The government said the adjustment was made under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM) formula, which determines weekly retail fuel prices based on global market movements.
For the same period, the price of RON97 petrol will remain at RM3.10 per litre, while non-subsidised RON95 petrol stays at RM2.54 per litre, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) said in release today.
Subsidised RON95 petrol under the BUDI95 programme will also remain unchanged at RM1.99 per litre.
Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will continue at RM2.15 per litre.
The ministry said the government will continue to monitor global oil price trends and review domestic retail prices accordingly, adding that maintaining price stability and safeguarding the public’s welfare remain key priorities. - February 11, 2026
