KUALA LUMPUR – Heavy rain is expected to occur in the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, Johor and Sabah today, said the Meteorological Department.
In a statement, it said bad weather is forecast to hit Kuantan, Pekan, Lipis, Jerantut, Temerloh, Maran, Bera and Rompin in Pahang, as well as Johor Baru, Segamat, Kluang, Mersing, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, Batu Pahat and Pontian in Johor.
Kelantan and Terengganu, too, are expected to experience such weather.
The department said downpours are expected in Sabah’s Tuaran, Ranau, Kota Belud, Telupid, Beluran, Sandakan and Kudat. – Bernama, January 2, 2021
