A LORRY attendant was fined RM3,500 by the Magistrate’s Court in Tampin today after pleading guilty to possessing 78 pornographic videos on his mobile phone.
Magistrate Nor Farhana Mohd Ishak handed down the sentence against Muhammad Sabri Muhamat Solehan, 33, after he admitted to the charge.
The court also ordered him to serve four months in jail if he failed to pay the fine.
According to the charge, Muhammad Sabri was found in possession of a mobile phone containing 78 pornographic videos at about 1pm on Sept 14 by the roadside at Tampin Square in Tampin, Johor.
He was charged under Section 292(a) of the Penal Code.
The court was told that the videos had been downloaded from several websites for his own gratification. - September 25, 2026
