THE income distribution of 5.00 sen per unit for Amanah Saham Malaysia 3 (ASM3) reflects Amanah Saham Nasional Berhad’s (ASNB) capability in effectively managing investment trusts.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that this income distribution — the highest rate in seven years —was achieved despite navigating a challenging global market environment.
According to him, good governance goes beyond merely preventing leakages and misuse; it demands efficiency in managing the trust, creating value, and ensuring that the returns ultimately benefit the people.
"Alhamdulillah, ASM3 has declared an income distribution of 5.00 sen per unit for the financial year ending 30 September 2026; this is the highest rate in seven years, up from 4.75 sen per unit (in 2025).
"For Muslim unitholders who opt for the Zakat Khultah (Class B) payment method, this rate equates to an estimated 4.87 per cent return after zakat deductions.
"May this distribution help strengthen the people's savings and financial planning for a better future, Insya-Allah," he said in a post on X.
