KUALA LUMPUR – The Election Commission will put on display the draft supplementary electoral rolls for the fourth quarter of 2020 (Q4/2020 RDPT) from tomorrow until February 9 at 910 locations nationwide.
EC secretary Datuk Ikmalrudin Ishak, in a statement today, said Q4/2020 RDPT contains 85,358 new voter registration applications, and 31,162 applications for a change in electoral divisions from voters registered from October 1 to December 31 last year.
“An inspection of Q4/2020 RDPT can be done via several channels, including going to any of the 910 display stations throughout the country and scanning the QR code of the parliamentary electoral division.
“The information is also available on the portal of the state election office, and the public can visit the said office as well.”
He said all applicants are advised to check their names on the electoral rolls, and if they are not listed, claims can be done using Form B.
Voters who wish to protest the entry of any name in Q4/2020 RDPT, in any division, can do so by submitting Form C.
Ikmalrudin said both forms can be downloaded from the state election office website.
“During the display period, the EC will also put up names that will be removed from the electoral rolls due to death, revocation of citizenship, or any other causes based on Regulations 10 and 25(2) of the Elections (Registration of Electors) Regulations 2002.” – Bernama, January 26, 2021
