KUALA LUMPUR – The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has introduced a live chat service as an alternative channel for customers to deal with the corporation.
In a statement today, PTPTN said through the service, customers can check, inquire and complain on matters pertaining to education loans, loan repayments and the National Education Saving Scheme.
“Customers need to browse the PTPTN official website and click on the live chat icon to communicate directly with our officers, who are always ready to lend a helping hand.
“Customers need not have any new media account to use this facility.”
It said the live chat service, which began operation on September 14 last year, is available every Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, with 16 officers on duty, including a supervisor.
According to the corporation, up to December 31 last year, 75,433 users have chosen the service, with a daily average user count of 993.
“The live chat also complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010,” it said, adding that before starting a conversation, customers will be required to provide certain information, like their name, identity card number, mobile phone number, email and query category.
“Customers can also use the e-complaint channel on the website, or contact our customer service officers and marketing executives nationwide via telephone.
“Our careline at 03-2193-3000 will also continue to operate every Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.”
PTPTN advised customers who wish to make loan repayments or deposits, and open SSPN accounts to use online transaction methods.
Due to the implementation of the movement control order, operation hours of PTPTN state offices and branches nationwide are from 9am to 3pm, while the hours of branch offices located at Urban Transformation Centres or supermarkets are based on the opening hours of the premises concerned. – Bernama, January 29, 2021
