SINGAPORE – A Malaysian man was among the 22 new Covid-19 imported cases reported in Singapore yesterday, according to the republic’s Health Ministry.
The ministry in its full data released late last night, said the 43-year-old work permit holder arrived from Malaysia and was symptomatic.
As at noon yesterday, there was no new report of locally transmitted cases in Singapore, bringing the total number of infections here to 59,624.
Of the 22 new imported cases, only three were symptomatic.
The other imported cases were from India, Indonesia, Germany, Japan, Nigeria, the Philippines and United Arab Emirates.
A 56-year-old Singaporean man, who returned from Malaysia, is also among the symptomatic imported cases.
