KUALA LUMPUR – The Nabawan district in Sabah will be placed under the movement control order (MCO) until March 16 after the detection of 177 Covid-19 cases in 15 villages.
Following a risk assessment, the Health Ministry said the restrictions are to help contain infections from spreading further into the community.
Meanwhile, the enhanced MCO (EMCO) will start for Felda Jengka 1, 2 and 7, and Felda Ulu Jempol in Maran, Pahang, from March 2 to 15.
On the other hand, the EMCO will end for several localities across the country.
They are:
- Sg Udang Prison and staff quarters, Melaka (ends tomorrow);
- Kg Sg Maong in Kuching, Sarawak (ends tomorrow); and
- Taman Univista in Kota Samarahan, Sarawak (ends tomorrow) – The Vibes, March 1, 2021
