SHAH ALAM – Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today wished Kg Tunku assemblyman Lim Yi Wei and Kota Damansara’s Shatiri Mansor a swift recovery after the two are positive for Covid-19.

“I’ll pray for their recovery. May they and their families be given the strength to go through the test,” he said on his Facebook posting, adding that the official functions and duties of the two elected representatives will be coordinated and facilitated by his office and their service centres.

Lim yesterday confirmed having been infected with Covid-19 through a post on her Facebook page account, while Shatiri announced the matter through a 3.28-minute video on his website.

Lim said she underwent her first Covid-19 screening at klia2 when she returned from Sabah on September 27. Since then, she has been under home quarantine.

She added she had a negative result on September 30, but she had the symptoms and took the test again on October 2, which then found gave a positive reading yesterday.

Shatiri, his wife, son and seven staff members of his service centre took the test at klia2 on September 27 upon their return from Sabah. They also observed a 14-day home quarantine.

“Yesterday, I received a call from the Petaling health centre saying that I tested positive for Covid-19, so did my wife and son. All of us were taken to Sg Buloh Hospital for treatment,” he said.
