KOTA BARU – The public is advised to refer to the Kelantan National Security Council’s Facebook page for the latest developments and instructions relating to efforts to curb Covid-19 in the state.
State police chief Datuk Shafien Mamat, in a statement today, said people are also urged not to share false information or unverified news on social media.
“Action can be taken against those who spread false information under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.”
He said an audio clip claiming Kelantan will be placed under the movement control order is untrue.
On Monday, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the conditional MCO in Kelantan, Selangor, Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Penang is extended to April 28. – Bernama, April 14, 2021
