KUALA LUMPUR – After being alerted by informants concerning drug use in public, MyWatch chairman Datuk R. Sri Sanjeevan is urging Johor police to stamp out the issue in the state.
He yesterday shared two videos showing addicts taking drugs publicly.
During a brief WhatsApp conversation with The Vibes, he said that these videos were taken in Pasir Gudang, Johor, and that he is sharing them to bring the matter to the attention of Johor police.
“Drugs and illegal gambling have the same effect on society. When the addicts run out of money to gamble or buy drugs, then they will steal, rob, and do other illegal things to get money to satisfy their needs.
“(Police should) launch an operation with other agencies like the National Anti-Drug Agency, Rela, and the Immigration Department, and arrest drug pushers and smugglers.”

One of the videos show a woman in a public area, who says she is waiting for her dealer, after which she smokes methamphetamines through a pipe.
In another video, a man in a blue shirt can be seen squatting next to what appears to be an abandoned building, taking drugs.
The person taking the video can be heard saying: “They come here every day and every time to use drugs.” – The Vibes, May 12, 2021
