KUALA LUMPUR – Two Twitter users who commute on the LRT train network here have claimed to have tested positive for Covid-19 and are urging others who have been passengers on the routes they use to get tested as well.

Twitter user @aisyxxi posted yesterday that she underwent an RTK-AG test in the morning due to illness, and her result showed she is positive for the virus.

“Whoever used the LRT yesterday, go for a swab test now! I did an RTK test this morning because I was feeling unwell and tested positive for Covid-19,” @aisyxxi tweeted yesterday.

Responding to queries and comments on her Twitter thread, she informed that she was on the LRT from the Melawati station to the KLCC station at around 8am to 9am on May 27.

She even shared a short video she had taken while in the LRT, showing how packed the coaches were.

Meanwhile @claudianuriman also uploaded the results of her Rt-PCR test, showing that she tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.

According to her Twitter thread, she was on the LRT train from the Wangsa Maju station to the Pasar Seni station. She then went over to the MRT station there to hop on an MRT train to Semantan.

She was commuting from 7am to 8.30am.

The netizen said her initial RTK-AG test yesterday was negative. However, the result of her Rt-PCR test this morning emerged positive.

“I was not experiencing any symptoms, and had received my first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on May 21. The train (from) Gombak to Putra Heights was very packed and crowded,” she tweeted. – The Vibes, May 29, 2021
