SINGAPORE – Five Malaysians are among the 18 new Covid-19 cases reported in Singapore yesterday, according to the republic’s Health Ministry.
Three of them are linked to three different clusters, while two are categorised as unlinked cases for now, it added.
As at noon yesterday, the republic reported a caseload of 62,069, with 43 open clusters – the largest one involving the Changi Airport Terminal with three clusters and 108 cases.
There are currently 217 confirmed cases still in hospital, with most of them being stable or improving.
Two, however, are in critical condition in the intensive care unit, while 11 require oxygen supplementation. – Bernama, June 2, 2021
