KINABATANGAN – The 69-year-old Covid-19 patient who ran away when health workers were about to pick him up yesterday has been found.

The man, who is from Kg Kuala Tongod near here, was supposed to be admitted to Sandakan Hospital before bolting into hiding.

Kinabatangan police chief Dzulbaharin Ismail said the man was found hiding on his farm at around 6pm today.

“Health workers noticed the man had gone missing around 11am yesterday when they were picking him up at his house.

“He went missing while (health workers were) waiting for him to finish packing up his belongings,” he said. – The Vibes, June 14, 2021
