KUALA LUMPUR – Private medical facilities participating in the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme will continue administering jabs during the enhanced movement control order that will take effect in several Klang Valley areas tomorrow.

ProtectHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd chief executive Dr Anas Alam Faizli said members of the public who have registered can check their appointments on MySejahtera.

On the number of participating private medical facilities, he said it has increased to 964 from 700 in under two weeks.

He said the aim is to increase this figure to between 2,000 and 3,000 before end-August.

ProtectHealth is a wholly owned non-profit subsidiary of the Health Ministry that has been mandated to register, provide training to, monitor the quality of, and make payments to private medical practitioners involved in the national vaccination drive. – Bernama, July 2, 2021
