KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin’s condition is “stable and improving” after a bout of diarrhoea landed him in the hospital on June 30, said the Prime Minister’s Office in a statement today.
The statement said the leader is being treated for an infection in his digestive system.
“On the advice of doctors, he is now in the hospital to continue with his intravenous antibiotic treatment.
“His condition is stable and improving and he is allowed to work while undergoing treatment,” the statement said.
It added there is “no evidence to show that the prime minister’s old tumour problem is recurring”.
It said the prime minister is expected to be discharged in a few days’ time, and that he thanked those who have prayed for his health. – The Vibes, July 4, 2021
