KUALA LUMPUR – Police have identified two local men who crawled under the barbwire fence at the People’s Housing Project in Jalan Kg Pasir here, which is under the enhanced movement control order, to escape the premises.

Brickfields district police chief Anuar Omar in a statement last night said the incident, in which three men fled, was caught in a video that went viral on social media, with a report on the matter lodged at 4.51pm yesterday.

He said the duo identified, aged 34 and 46, have previous criminal records.

“The 34-year-old has six records for offences related to drugs, robbery, theft and others, while the 46-year-old has nine records for burglary and drug-related offences.”

Police are tracking down the third suspect. – Bernama, July 5, 2021
