Woman filmed sneaking into KL flats under EMCO wanted by police

KUALA LUMPUR – Police are tracking down a woman suspected of sneaking into Pantai Dalam’s Taman Bukit Angkasa People’s Housing Project, which is under the enhanced movement control order.

Brickfields district police chief Anuar Omar in a statement today said a report was lodged after a video of the incident made the rounds on social media.

“Investigations found that the woman, wearing a dark shirt and white pants, was sneaking into the area to visit her grandmother.

“Efforts to track down the woman, believed to be living in Puchong, are under way.”

He said a witness has admitted to filming the incident and uploading the clip online yesterday.

The case is being investigated under Section 269 of the Penal Code for committing a negligent act likely to spread the infection of a dangerous disease, and which carries a six-month jail term, or a fine, or both, upon conviction. – Bernama, July 10, 2021
