KUALA LUMPUR – Telecommunication customer service centres in malls and hypermarkets are allowed to operate starting tomorrow, said Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Ismail Sabri said the decision was made by the National Security Council in a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin earlier today.
“The customer service centres are allowed to operate during the National Recovery Plan (NRP) beginning July 13,” he said in a statement today.
He also announced that several localities in Selangor, Sarawak and Sabah will see the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) end tomorrow.
The areas are:
– Taman Murni, Sepang, Selangor
– Pangsapuri Sri Ayu, Seksyen 4, Bandar Baru Bangi, Hulu Langat, Selangor
– CLQ Johan Setia, Kg Johan Setia, Klang, Selangor
– Kg Tematu, Jalan Batu Kitang, Kuching, Sarawak
– Kg Linukaan, Kota Marudu, Sabah
– Kg Perpaduan Gumpa, Kudat, Sabah
– Kg Perpaduan 2, Kudat, Sabah
– Kg Timbagaan, Matunggong, Kudat, Sabah
– Ladang Sungai Balung workers’ house, Tawau, Sabah
– Kilang Bata Kg Durok quarters, Kg Limbawan Sayur, Keningau, Sabah
Meanwhile, he said EMCO will be implemented in several localities in Pahang, Johor, Sabah and Sarawak from Wednesday to July 27.
They are:
– Felda Lembah Klau, Mukim Gali, Raub, Pahang
– Felda Maokil, Muar, Johor
– Kg Kendaie and Kg Bukit Batu, Lundu, Kuching, Sarawak
– Taman Muhibbah Phase 1,2 & 3, Beaufort, Sabah
– Six areas around Kg Patikang Ulu, Keningau, Sabah:
a) Kg Patikang Ulu
b) Focus Lumber factory and quarters
c) Veracity factory and quarters
d) Hasil Jadi factory and quarters
e) IDA driving centre
f) Placement of Indonesian citizens.
– Two localities in Penampang, Sabah:
a) Kg Madsiang
b) Apartment Beverly Hills Phase 2
– Kg Kobusak, Penampang, Sabah
The EMCO in CLQ Gamuda Garden, Kundang Jaya, Rawang in Selangor and Flat Taman Benus Jaya, Bentong in Pahang has been extended for two weeks until July 19. – The Vibes, July 12, 2021
