ISKANDAR PUTERI – Thirteen individuals have been detained for being a part of a drug-fuelled private party in Pangsapuri Medini here in Johor.

Among those detained are two wanted individuals – a drug offence and a civil servant – as well as 11 of the rest who tested positive for methamphetamine. 

The police also seized a set of speakers and laser stage lighting. 

“Initial investigations showed the party organiser invited the suspects via WhatsApp to join for free. The party started last Saturday at 9pm and was expected to only end early yesterday morning,” said Iskandar Puteri district chief Dzulkhairi Mokhtar in a statement.

The suspects are aged between 17 and 27.

This case is being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and violating standard operating procedures under the National Recovery Plan. – The Vibes, August 30, 2021
