KUALA LUMPUR – Seven localities – four in Sabah, two in Kelantan and one in Pahang –  will be under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Wednesday to September 28, said the National Security Council.

Its director-general Datuk Rodzi Md Saad in a statement today said the affected localities in Sabah are two in Kota Kinabalu, namely Kg Warisan and Rumah Pangsa Tg Aru, and one each in Kalabakan (Kilang Fu Yee in Brantian) and Kota Marudu (Kg Rugading).

The affected areas in Kelantan are located in Pengkalan Kubur, Tumpat, namely Kg Bendang Pak Yong and Kg Simpangan.

The Pahang locality is Kg Paya Pelong in Kerdau, Temerloh.

Rodzi said the EMCO in two localities – Sabah’s Kg Lotong in Kota Marudu, and Pahang’s Kg Temalian in Ulu Dong, Raub – that had been scheduled to end tomorrow has been extended to September 28.

He said the EMCO in two Sabah localities, namely Kg Hidayat in Batu 4, Tawau, and Kg Penangah in Tongod, will end tomorrow as scheduled.

The EMCO in three localities in Lata Rek, Olak Jeram, Kuala Krai, Kelantan, namely Kg Lata Tuai, Kg Tok Uban and Kg Kubang Kerian, will also end tomorrow as scheduled. – Bernama, September 13, 2021
