KUALA LUMPUR - The Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) will cease allowing players to tee off at its courses from today until further notice after a Covid-19 case was detected there.
The RSGC's sports activity suspension marks the second major golfing facility in the Klang Valley to be immediately shut for sanitisation.
According to the Malay Mail, the RSGC found that one of its members who is a ‘Datuk’ tested positive recently, and had played with his wife on Jalan Kelab Golf on October 24.
The couple had also played at TPC in Bukit Kiara two days later. The Datuk tested positive on the same day.
Both clubs have issued a notice on their immediate closures to a later date which is yet to be set.
Similarly, a restaurant, The Burnin' Pit had also announced a temporary closure to sanitise its premises immediately after it found a case involving a patron connected to the golf course case. – The Vibes, October 28, 2020
