Sabah cancer patient survives fall from hospital’s 6th floor

KOTA KINABALU – A cancer patient, who fell from Likas Hospital’s sixth floor last night and landed on the roof of the third level, has miraculously survived.

Jalan Lintas fire station chief Agustavia Joe Guasi today said the 64-year-old man, who was placed under quarantine at the hospital, suffered serious injuries.

He said firefighters received an emergency call on the incident, and teams from the Jalan Lintas and Kota Kinabalu stations were deployed.

The patient was treated by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services before he was handed over to the hospital. – Bernama, November 15, 2020
