GEORGE TOWN – Police are on the hunt for a 23-year-old man believed to be a Covid-19 patient after he fled Penang Hospital here. 

His last known address is in Jalan Gelugor, Pokok Sena in Kepala Batas, Seberang Prai. 

The suspect, who is about 165cm tall, had left his pink wrist band on his hospital bed before running away at 3pm today. 

Northeast district police head Soffian Santong confirmed that a report was filed over the missing patient. 

“We are actively trying to track the person down.”
