KUALA LUMPUR – The government’s efforts to reduce dependence on foreign workers in the construction industry will be discussed at today’s Dewan Rakyat sitting.

According to the Parliament website, the matter will be raised in a question by Datuk Robert Lawson Chuat (GPS-Betong) to the works minister.

There will also be a question from Lukanisman Awang Sauni (GPS-Sibuti) to the entrepreneur development and cooperatives minister on specific measures to assist the wedding industry, which has been impacted by cancellations and strict Covid-19 health and safety rules.

The debate on Budget 2021 will then continue for the sixth day. – Bernama, November 17, 2020
