BANGI – Perikatan Nasional will announce its list of candidates for the upcoming 15th general election (GE15) on October 29.

This was revealed by several of its leaders, including Bersatu information chief Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan, who said the coalition is planning to diversify its pool of elected representatives for GE15.

“We will offer candidates who are part of the youth as well as women, but who are also experienced. We will offer all of them to the people,” he told reporters when met after the launch of PN’s election machinery in Bangi, late yesterday evening.

“Diversity is what’s most important, and I believe the ratio of all characteristics will be balanced,” he added.

Wan Saiful was asked to confirm whether PN’s contenders consist of at least 30% youth candidates.

Also present was Bangi PN chief, Mohd Shafie Ngah, who said that more information about the list of candidates will be announced on the date.

Shafie noted that PN hopes to garner more votes for the coalition with its diversification of candidates in the polls.

He also claimed that Malaysians have been satisfied with the services provided by PN, which he said will be another factor in steering more votes towards the coalition. – The Vibes, October 26, 2022
