KUALA LUMPUR – The National Security Council (NSC) has decided to end the conditional movement control order (CMCO) in the districts of Kota Baru, Machang, Tanah Merah, and Pasir Mas in Kelantan.

The CMCO in those districts was implemented on December 7 and scheduled to end on December 20, said a statement released by Senior Ministry (Security) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob today.

“The Health Ministry has confirmed that Covid-19 cases in all four districts show a downward trend, and the active cases are localised to a few sub-districts.”

On the advice from the Health Ministry, the NSC has lifted the CMCO in those districts today except for Kubang Kerian and Kusial in the Penggawa sub-district.

The CMCO in these two locales is scheduled to end on December 20.

He added that the enhanced MCO in Madrasah Ad-Diniah Al-Falahiah in Pasir Puteh will continue until December 20. – The Vibes, December 11, 2020
