KUALA LUMPUR – Actress-model Amber Chia is in the hospital with a head injury after falling down the stairs.

The 41-year-old celebrity posted a photo of herself in a hospital bed with her head in a bandage on Facebook and Instagram, but assured followers not to worry.

“Black out, fall from stairs. Small accident. Waiting for surgery now. Don’t worry, all, I’m ok,” she said in a post earlier today.

She had a second post this evening, saying, “Stitches done. All good. Don’t worry all.”

According to the China Press, Chia was taken to hospital by a friend and her manager who were with her when she fell.

Chia’s manager also told the Chinese newspaper that all her meetings and work-related matters have been postponed until she makes a full recovery.

In an Instagram story, Chia said she fell down the stairs last night (Wednesday) and that she may have passed out due to exhaustion. – The Vibes, July 27, 2023
