PETALING JAYA – An MCA member, Wong Jung Lik, 46, will be contesting as an independent for the Seri Kembangan state seat.

He turned up today at the Puchong Indah multi-purpose hall to file his nomination papers today.

This is despite an earlier announcement by MCA that it will be sitting out the state elections this time.

Wong said he felt this was something he had to do following numerous requests from the people.

“However, I am unsure what my fate would be,” he said. – The Vibes, July 29, 2023
