BRAZIL has always been the favourite to win the World Cup, although the last time the South American giants carried the cup was 20 years ago when the tournament was held in South Korea and Japan.

Since then, they have always made it to the quarterfinals or semifinals of the World Cup. This year, Brazilian supporters are once again hoping that the World Cup will go home to Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil has had the highest number of World Cup wins since it was first held in 1930. The Selecao World Cup triumphs came in 1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2002

In today’s episode, we have ardent Brazilian supporter and The Vibes news editor G. Surach giving his take on the samba boys’ chances of winning their sixth World Cup.

Join us in the third episode of Football Vibes as we get into his mind as well as our expectations on teams progressing into the knockout stage tonight.

Bear in mind, we are not football experts dissecting the games in detail – but we love talking about the game and learning about each other’s experiences and opinion of it. – The Vibes, December 2, 2022
