MALAYSIAN-made horror movie Pulau opens in 127 cinemas throughout the country today and Artizens duo, Datuk Kamil Othman and Manvir Victor speak exclusively with the film's producer Fred Chong and actor Evelyn Feroza – one of the main cast members of this supposedly ‘controversial’ movie.

We discover the processes the movie underwent to obtain its PG13 classification and how the approved trailer caused a somewhat public outrage in some quarters of the population.

The duo addresses the criticisms that the movie is riding on a certain influencer’s fanbase, that the cast (with the exception of Aliff Satar, Amelia Henderson and Namron) cannot act and are there just to titillate.
