Be it a beginner or a veteran with working out and exercising, the biggest obstacle we all face is motivation.

Without a sense of accountability, it is easy to make excuses; to postpone or even forgo our sweat-inducing sessions.

Well, sweat not (pun intended), for Japanese toy company Bandai will be launching their very own fitness band called the Digimon Vital Bracelet.

This band goes beyond a pedometer and a heart rate monitor for its in-built Virtual Pet system connects your physical activities to the growth of your very own pet.

Depending on how active you are, your Digimon will grow and evolve accordingly.

And with its internal Near Field Communication (NFC) system, your Digimon will be able to battle others.

So, the stronger you are, the stronger your Digi-pet is, the more battles you win.

This Vital Bracelet will not only serve as a fitness tracker but also your personal workout buddy; keeping you accountable.

The Digimon Vital Bracelet will be launching March of 2021, retailing at 6,380 Yen (RM250) each.

DigiNavi will also be streaming a special announcement subtitled the "New Device 'Vital Bracelet Digital Monster' Announcement Special" this Friday (18th December) at 7 PM Kuala Lumpur Time.
