THE Negeri Sembilan men’s basketball team has made history by securing their seventh consecutive title at the 2024 MABA-MJ Health Agong’s Cup National Basketball Championships. 

In an exhilarating final match at the Malaysian Basketball Association (MABA) Stadium, Negeri Sembilan dominated Johor with a commanding 85-57 victory, continuing their reign as champions

Ting Chun Hong was the standout player of the match, contributing 27 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists, leading his team to yet another championship win. 

This achievement cements Negeri Sembilan's position as a powerhouse in Malaysian basketball, achieving an unprecedented seven-title streak.

Wong Yi Hou, captain of the Negeri Sembilan men's team, expressed his gratitude to team owner Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock for his consistent support.

The Johor men’s team, showing great perseverance, finished as the runner-up for the second year in a row, demonstrating their consistency at the tournament.
