AL-NASSR star Cristiano Ronaldo and his partner Georgina Rodriguez have bought two luxury homes on an exclusive island that can only be accessed by boat or amphibious plane.

Ronaldo signed a two-year deal worth £492m (RM657m) to stay in Saudi Arabia last summer. Now, part of his fortune is invested in luxury properties in the Middle Eastern country, 25km from the coast in the middle of the Red Sea.

Nujuma Island offers the Ronaldo family a luxurious lifestyle with private villas designed for exclusive holidays. Each property is estimated to cost £3.5m (RM4.67m) and is designed to form a circle above the sea.

The villas were designed by renowned British architect Lord Norman Foster, and can only be accessed by boat or amphibious aircraft, with visitors having to first land at Red Sea International Airport.

Ronaldo and Georgina were reportedly among the first to buy two properties in Nujuma, priced between £3 million–4.5 million (RM4–RM6 billion). One of the villas features three bedrooms for family use, while the other has two bedrooms.

Nearby luxury amenities include a golf course and top-notch restaurants, with 11 resorts planned to open in the future.

Ronaldo was quoted by the Saudi Gazette as saying: “The island is truly incredible from every angle. From our first visit, Georgina and I felt a deep connection to the island and its stunning natural beauty. It is a place where we find peace and tranquility.” – AGENCIES
