KUALA LUMPUR – It’s not every day that you see footballing legend Eric Cantona enjoying the nightlife in Kuala Lumpur.

Nicknamed “King Eric” by Manchester United fans, the 56-year-old Frenchman was spotted in the big city a few days ago.

According to sources, he was in town to do a commercial with car e-commerce platform Carsome.

The four-time Premier League title winner also enjoyed what Kuala Lumpur had to offer when the sun goes down, visiting several hotspots including SPG by Bijan in Jalan Ceylon and Marini’s On 57 at Petronas Tower 3.

He wasn’t the only Cantona visiting Malaysia. Eric was accompanied by his two brothers, Joel and Jean-Marie.

Previously, Cantona had made several visits to Malaysia and even said that he considers it to be his second home.

He said this in 2016 during his fifth visit to Malaysia when he was invited by communications provider YES as a brand ambassador.

In 2004, Cantona was named by Pele in the FIFA 100 list of the world’s greatest living players and in 2021, he was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame. – The Vibes, June 1, 2022
