KUALA LUMPUR – PAS today reiterated that it fully backs the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government and will continue to have a presence in the Borneo state.

Secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan, in a statement, said the party is, after all, a component of Perikatan Nasional, which is in GRS along with Barisan Nasional and Parti Bersatu Sabah.

“It must be stressed that PAS, especially in Sabah, has members from various ethnic groups, including non-Muslims in its Supporters’ Assembly wing.

“Therefore, PAS is confident that the GRS government led by Datuk Seri Hajiji Mohd Noor can provide the best service to Sabahans, with cooperation and assistance from the federal government under the leadership of Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.” – Bernama, October 1, 2020
