Pandemic has cast a pall on businesses ahead of Festival of Lights

KUALA LUMPUR – Deepavali is known as the Festival of Lights, but Covid-19 has cast a shadow on the celebration this time around.

With the conditional movement control order extended to December 6 and covering most of the peninsula, as well as Sabah, the gloom is felt not only by Hindus, but also traders.

The Vibes Visuals Team’s SYEDA IMRAN surveyed businesses in Brickfields ahead of the usually lively celebration, which falls on November 14 this year. – The Vibes, November 8, 2020
