KUALA LUMPUR – Widad Group Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Widad Builders Sdn Bhd, has accepted a project tender from the Kedah government to upgrade the Bukit Selambau water treatment plant in Kuala Muda worth RM129.4 million.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, Widad said the contract period is for 130 weeks, from June 6, 2021 to December 2, 2023.
It said the project is expected to contribute positively to Widad and its subsidiaries’ earnings and net assets.
