KUALA LUMPUR – Appeals for the Prihatin Special Grant 2.0 (GKP 2.0) can be submitted from December 7 to 21, said Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz.
The finance minister, in a statement today, said the time period is set to allow people to submit supporting documents for review and verification by the Inland Revenue Board (IRB).
He said almost 850,000 micro, small and medium enterprises have received GKP and GKP 2.0, with the financial assistance totalling RM2.55 billion.
“To ensure that these businsses are truly eligible for GKP 2.0, each application is cross-checked with agencies appointed by the government as of August 31, 2020, including the Companies Commission of Malaysia, local authorities and IRB.”
