KUALA LUMPUR – The Armed Forces Fund Board (LTAT) has announced a 5% annual dividend for its financial year ended December 31, 2022.
This is higher than the 4.1% dividend announced for 2021, and the highest since 2018.
The total dividend distribution for 2022 stands at RM476.45 million compared to RM379.4 million in 2021.
Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the current economic situation has been challenging due to economic unrest and market fluctuations in 2022 caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“This takes into account the market environment and financial system that has been paralysed for almost three years due to the pandemic, but the LTAT management has managed to get good returns on its investments,” he said during the dividend announcement at Menara Chulan here today. – The Vibes, March 13, 2023
