MISSION Foods, the leading provider of high-quality flatbreads, recently announced the launch of two new variants in its Healthy Wraps range - Wholemeal Protein Wraps and Wholemeal Salt Reduced Wraps.

The new healthy wraps feature plant-based proteins and lower sodium levels to promote a nutritionally balanced diet and are poised to become a game-changer in the fast-growing world of health-conscious consumers.

The Mission Wholemeal Protein Wraps, enriched with plant-based proteins, present an eco-friendly and high-protein option suitable for all consumers, including vegans and vegetarians.

A high-protein diet supports enhanced metabolism, reduces appetite, and enhances bone strength and muscle growth.

Each Wholemeal Protein Wrap is enriched with seven grams of protein, providing a convenient and delicious way to boost your daily protein intake and is the ideal culinary canvas to kickstart imaginative and tasty high-protein meals.

The Wholemeal Salt Reduced Wrap is designed for those who are mindful of their salt intake.

It offers reduced salt content compared to traditional wraps, containing only 134 mg of sodium per wrap making it a heart-healthy choice.

A low-sodium diet helps manage the build-up of fluid in the abdomen and helps maintain normal blood pressure levels whilst keeping blood sugar under control.

To fully embrace a low-sodium diet, the wraps can be used as a base to create meals using ingredients that are naturally low in sodium such as eggs, dairy, fruit, vegetables and unsalted nuts.

Both new healthy wraps are made from wholemeal flour, and boast high dietary fibre, and are free from artificial flavours and added sugar.

Randall Tan, Brand Manager of Mission Foods South Asia said they will be launching a campaign in conjunction with the launch of the two new variants to get people to start prioritising their health and wellbeing.

“In today's fast-paced world, we often neglect our physical well-being due to busy schedules and lifestyle choices. As age catches up with us, the impact of our daily decisions on our bodies becomes apparent.

“This realisation has led to the inception of Mission Foods' #LookGoodFeelGood campaign in line with the launch of the two new variants of healthy wraps,” he added. - The Vibes, January 9, 2024
