K-dramas ‘High Class’, ‘Hometown’, ‘The Veil’, & ‘One The Woman’ on Astro

IN September, K-drama fans can binge-watch the latest Korean series, premiering the same day as Korea on Astro via Oh!K (Ch 394 HD), tvN (Ch 395 HD), ONE (Ch 393 HD), and K-Plus (Astro GO Ch 396 HD). Fans can also stream available episodes after the TV premiere On Demand and  Astro GO. 

K-drama fans can look forward exciting premiering Korean favourites in September, include: 

  • High Class, Korean mystery and crime-thriller drama, starring Cho Yeo-Jeong, Kim Ji Soo, Ha Joon, Park Se-Jin and Gong Hyun-joo from 7 September on K-Plus (Astro GO Ch  396 HD).  
  • Hometown, Korean thriller and mysterious serial murder drama, starring Yoo Jae myung, Han Ye-ri, Uhm Tae-goo, and more from 23 September on tvN (Ch 395 HD).
  • The Veil, action-packed Korean drama, starring Nam Goong Min, Park Ha Sun, Kim Ji  Eun, and Kim Byeong Ki from 18 September on Oh!K (Ch 394 HD). 
  • One The Woman, Korean romantic comedy drama starring Lee Hanee, Lee Sang Yoon,  Lee Won Keun and more from 18 September on ONE (Ch 393 HD).

How perfect are the lives of the women who live in the top 0.1% bracket of the society? This drama is about the fibs and hypocrisies hidden behind those lives. It builds the suspense and mystery around those who live it. 

Song Yeo-ool is framed for her husband’s murder and she loses everything. Nam Ji-seon is the star among the mothers at the international school where the children of elite go. Danny, a former ice hockey player is a teacher at the school. Hwang Na-yoon, a single mother who is the only one friendly to Song Yeo-ool. Cha Do yeong, a washed out actress follows Nam Ji-seon around because she wants to be in the limelight. 

Hometown (Same Day as Korea) (Premiere) September 23, Thursday & Friday, 9.15pm tvN (Ch 395 HD), On Demand & Astro GO 

A mystery thriller set in 1999 where a detective and a  woman looking for her abducted nephew join hands to hunt down a terrorist who is linked to a series of murder cases. 

The Veil (Same Day as Korea) (Premiere) September 18, Saturday & Sunday, 7.50pm Oh!K (Ch 394 HD) 

This drama is about a top NIS agent that faces a great monster within the organisation as he goes after the traitor that has ruined his reputation. It is a record of  the process as the agent that had forced himself to forget memories of the past faces a deep darkness within himself.

One The Woman (Same Day as Korea) (Premiere) September 18, Saturday & Sunday, 9.45pm ONE (Ch 393 HD), On Demand & Astro GO 

Story of a corrupt prosecutor, Jo Yeon Joo, who loses her memories in a car accident and wakes up from coma with a new identity, Kang Mi Na, after being mistaken due to their resemblance. She begins her new life as the daughter-in-law of a chaebol family from an arranged marriage and is expected to be a conservative housewife. Meanwhile, her husband, Han Seung Wook, meets his first love, whom he still has feelings for. – The Vibes, September 4, 2021
