“It is not the first time that the venue has seen a rock performance. I have conducted a few rocks concerts at Istana Budaya and am very confident that the audience will be getting the best from the performers, including myself.

“I don’t think it will be awkward for the entertainment hall to house a rock concert post-pandemic,” he noted.

Joining him at the media event were the remaining legendary rockers known in showbiz, except for Ella who is currently unwell.

“Although she is under the weather today, I assure you she is equally excited as we all are,” added Ritz Metalasia.

The rocker takes on the role as the musical director for the concert and oversees all the band's composition and production to assist the individual performers.

“The reason behind the number 40 is a manner of paying tribute to the number of years rock music and the industry have entertained local audiences.

“As you know, the 80s is considered among the glorious era of the rock era penetrating into the wider listeners and fans, in which we hope to live it out in this coming performance again,” shared Ritz.
